Largest Ever GemGenève Closes

The eighth edition of GemGenève came to a close on 15 May 2024 in Geneva after a four-day exhibition of comprehensive overview of jewellery creation. The show featured 244 exhibitors including dealers, traders, and emerging artists in the gemstone and jewellery industry from 22 countries in total – an all-time record for the event.

According to show management, around 3,566 visitors came to GemGenève, ten percent more than at the previous edition in November 2023. The figure was lower than the May 2023 edition, due mainly to May 9 being a public holiday and the market being less buoyant. Over 75 nationalities were represented at the event.

GemGenève is created and run by dealers and cofounders Ronny Totah of Horovitz & Totah SA and Thomas Faerber of Faerber Collection. Totah sees the eighth edition as a resounding success. The show’s latest offering provided further proof of the fact that it is becoming increasingly well-established over the long term, offering a whole host of contemporary initiatives in artistic creation.
