Jewellery & Gem ASIA Hong Kong brings together 1,300+ exhibitors from 19 – 22 June at HKCEC
Jewellery & Gem ASIA Hong Kong (JGA) is gearing up to welcome thousands of trade buyers from around the world this June, offering abundant mid-year opportunities for product discovery, sourcing and partnerships, show organiser Informa Markets Jewellery announced today.
JGA is taking place from 19 to 22 June at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). Buyers may skip the long queues onsite by pre-registering online between now and 11 June.
With 1,300+ exhibitors representing 30+ countries and regions, the B2B jewellery and gemstone buying event is uniquely positioned as Asia’s premier summer meeting place for major product debuts and bold ideas, said Celine Lau, Director of Jewellery Fairs at Informa Markets Jewellery.
“The June show offers exceptional buying opportunities for wholesalers and retailers looking to fulfil urgent orders or stock up for the second half of the year – be it loose diamonds, coloured gemstones and pearls, finished jewellery, packaging, equipment & tools and industry-related technologies,” Lau shared. “More importantly, due to its strategic timing, JGA is the perfect venue for suppliers to inspire and energise the industry with their latest collections in between seasons. Lovely pearls
Pearls embody refined elegance and serene charm at its finest. Visitors will be able to explore a rich assortment of loose pearls and finished jewellery collections that show off the splendour of Akoya, South Sea, Tahitian and freshwater pearls, and ocean-born gems such as conch and Melo pearls, among others. Poised to make a splash in Hong Kong are Uto Shinju’s radiant “Sunshine” pendant, a fusion of white and golden pearls resembling a sunburst, and other new product introductions; Hong Kong Edison Pearl’s strands of freshwater pearls in metallic tones and in a kaleidoscope of colours such as orange, pink, violet and champagne, and Ocean Flame’s conch pearls in deep pink hues with distinct flame-like structures, to name a few.

Stone sculptures
What could be more magnificent than transforming rough natural stones into timeless sculptures? BBGems is presenting hand-carved stone figures of macaws, peacocks, flamingos and other feathered creatures at JGA. Among the company’s pride and joy are a macaw duo – one with wings gracefully extended – on an amethyst cluster base, and a peacock crafted from sodalite and ruby zoisite.

For buyers in search of fine gems, whether loose or set in finished jewellery, JGA is a prime destination. Exhibitor HYT Jewelry is showcasing a ring with a 10.03-carat fancy yellow diamond centre stone, a pair of Colombian emerald earrings embellished with pear-shaped diamonds and a 13-carat loose Colombian emerald, perfect as a centrepiece for a couture collection. Alongside HYT Jewelry, JGA hosts some of the globe’s leading gemstone suppliers, luxury jewellery houses and manufacturers offering goods across various quality ranges.

Ruby magic
Very few can resist the allure of the ruby. Known as the “King of Gemstones,” rubies are coveted for their deep red hue symbolising passion, vitality and love. At JGA, jewellers are unveiling ruby collections designed for everyday elegance. Ken Chan presents stackable ruby and diamond rings while Ballet Ruby introduces a dainty saddle clasp bracelet adorned with rubies and diamonds. Christelle launches a diamond-set shoulder ring that elegantly wraps around the finger and is adorned with branch-like extensions topped with pear-shaped diamonds and a 1.58-carat ruby centre stone.

Timeless treasures
Embodying the elegance and grandeur of bygone eras, antique and vintage jewellery are among JGA’s top draws. Some of the collections bound for Hong Kong are Van den Plas & Zonen’s old mine diamond brooch signed by Boucheron, and Faerber-Collection’s Lalique brooch in the form of two herons crafted from enamel and diamonds, among others.

In addition, JGA will introduce three standout attractions: The groundbreaking Orient Odyssey 2.0 pearl exhibit (Stand 3M260), a dedicated Gold Jewellery Pavilion and the announcement of the Finalists for the Sustainability Awards 2025 by JWA (Jewellery World Awards).
Launched at JGW last September, Orient Odyssey 2.0 is a new iteration of the curated space celebrating the “Queen of Gems.” Exclusive to the iconic Hong Kong fair, OO 2.0 will present a wider variety of pearl exhibits and interactive elements, offering buyers the opportunity to journey into the world of pearls without ever leaving the show floor. Initiated by Informa’s Jewellery & Gem Knowledge Community, the featured showcase is supported by the biggest names in the pearl industry, led by Platinum Sponsors Autore, Jewelmer, Paspaley Pearling Company and Rio Pearl.
Another highlight is the Gold Jewellery Pavilion. This zone is a hotspot for cutting-edge trends and advancements in gold jewellery production and design, illustrating the endless possibilities achievable with this precious medium.
On the green front, Informa’s Sustainability Awards 2025 by JWA will reveal the finalists at the JGA Media Gathering set for 19 June. The winners will be officially announced in July and honoured at an Awards Presentation Ceremony during the JGW Fair Reception on 17 September at the HKCEC.
JGA will also host panel discussions and exhibitor-led sessions. Among the key events are dialogues on “The Rise of the Eco-Friendly Luxury Consumer” on 19 June and “For the Love of Pearls: A Millennial and Gen Z Affair” on 20 June.
