METS 2014 (Machinery, Equipment, Technology and Supplies for Jewellery & Watch Industry) will debut at the AsiaWorld-Expo, Hong Kong, between 25 and 28 June 2014. The event is proudly presented by the Hong Kong Jewellery & Jade Manufacturers Association (HKJJA), aiming to provide jewellery and watch professionals with a one-stop trading platform of ultimate manufacturing solutions.
Exhibitors from Italy, Germany, Belgium, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, China, Hong Kong and more will showcase top quality exhibits of every aspect in jewellery and watch manufacturing including casting equipment, electroforming equipment, machines and equipment for jewellery and watch production, jewellery and watch accessories, etc.

Testing time can also be free selected and programmed up to 300 seconds. Together with our Martel thermal printer, users can have instant printout of results.”

Precious Metal Tester GKS-300 is introduced by Japanese company Alfa Mirage for easy and accurate testing on gold, white gold, silver and platinum. Toshikazu Tamahiro, sales supervisor of the company, said: “The device is useful to check most common type of fake gold. In addition, metals which are covered with real gold or platinum can be detected.” It can also function as a normal gram scale with minimum weight of 2g and densimeter with density of 0.001g/cm3.
Founded in 1911, France-based Merard-Cauillaudin has specialized in the development of deburring, polishing and finishing products for more than 40 years. New product INFINITE Diamond Flat Polishing is a liquid diamond complex which can polish hard metals for jewellery industry.
