A traveling designer, Natalie Dissel forges her passion for rare gemstones, textured minerals, nature and cultures into her jewellery collections. After an extensive travel to South America and Asia, Dissel has settled in Bali, Indonesia, and started her design studio Natalie Dissel Jewelry in 2008. Her original design draws inspiration from the amazing countries and unique cultures on the journey.
Fine quality, innovative and distinct in style, Dissel’s design has met a wider recognition when it was named a JCK Rising Star for 2014. “It is a tremendous pleasure to be called a Rising Star. It gives me great satisfaction to the sleepless nights and thousands of hours of hard work by me and my craftsman. Being recognized at this stage gives an opportunity to share my designs and passion for gemstones with a wider audience. In business sense it opens up new markets for us and give us access to knowledge and experience of immense quality individuals in the jewellery industry,” she told Hong Kong Jewellery.
Natalie Dissel Jewelry is a socially-conscious brand which has sponsored charity organizations, made donations to the communities in need and paid fair prices for the production of her jewellery. “Fair-trade gold is something that I hope to move into by the end of this year,” she said.
