Hong Kong jewellery is reputable for its excellent design and craftsmanship. Recently, Hong Kong-based Sun Tak Hop Jewellery Fty Ltd’s director May Tsui shared with Hong Kong Jewellery the keys to success and the future plans.
Established in 1978, Sun Tak Hop is famed for its cutting-edge design and quality customer services. Tsui emphasized that Sun Tak Hop is a jewellery manufacturer who always dares to turn imagination to real products. With sophisticated craftsmanship, its extraordinary jewellery always impresses customers. “We launch new collections every month to stay close with the latest trends, such as the recently-launched jewellery with shiny metals.”
Customer-friendliness is another key to success. Tsui said: “To protect our existing clients, Sun Tak Hop never approaches new customers without careful consideration. We know clearly our position as a supplier who assists in their business behind them. Currently, around 90 percent of them are repeated customers. They become our long-term partners and even friends.”
Despite the recent economic slowdown, Sun Tak Hop has recorded a stable growth with the support of its clients from Europe, the United States, Asia, South America, Russia and much more. Tsui expressed: “We aim at a stable-yet-progressive growth in 2014. By offering better services and design, we hope to help our clients to overcome the quiet year.”
In 2010, Sun Tak Hop established its own brand STH. However, no collections have been launched yet due to its devotion to building clients’ brands. Tsui said: “We are in preparation for STH’s brand concept, directions, characteristics, pricing, etc, hoping to launch new collections in two years’ time.”
