In a bid to acknowledge the excellence and innovation in the watchmaking industry, the 14th Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) presented awards to the winners of 16 categories on 31 October 2014 at the Grand Théâtre de Genève. Around 1,500 guests including influential figures from the world of watchmaking, finance and politics attended. The supreme award ‘Aiguille d’Or’ went to Breguet for its Classic Chronométrie model. The watchmaking giant was also awarded the Public Prize for the Classique Dame watch.
GPHG 2014 saw a record participation from major watchmaking houses as well as a number of independent companies.
Since 2001 GPHG has paid annual tributes to the excellence of global watchmaking creations, fostering the reputation and influence of the art of watchmaking and its values around the globe.
