Sotheby’s Hong Kong launched two important watches spring auctions on 7 April 2015 with a combined total of HK150.7 million (US$19.3 million), marking the third highest total for the category at Sotheby’s Hong Kong. The highlight went to Swatch & Art from the Dunkel Collection, comprised over 5,800 pieces of Swatch and art, which was sold for HK$46,680,000 (US$5,984,615). A Patek Philippe pink gold minute repeating instantaneous perpectual calendar tourbillon wristwatch Ref 5207R achieved HK$4,760,000 (US$610,256).
