Sotheby’s Hong Kong fine jewels and jadeite sale on 2 December 2015 realised a total of HK$41.9 million (US$5.4 million). The top lot was a diamond ring set with a 5.04-carat fancy vivid yellow internally flawless diamond sold for HK$2.48 million (US$318,000). Other star lots included a platinum ring set with a 5.19-carat step-cut emerald and diamonds sold for HK$1.75 million (US$225,000) and a pair of diamond pendant earrings set with a pear-shaped fancy intense yellow diamond weighing 4.05 and 3.92 carats which sold for HK$1.25 million (US$161,000).
