As one of Malaysia’s most exclusive jewellery fairs, Malaysia International Jewellery Fair (MIJF) will once again return to Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from 28 to 31 July 2017. Over 100 jewellery brands from more than 11 countries and regions including mainland China, Cambodia, Dubai, Hong Kong, Japan, Italy, Singapore, Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia and India will showcase around 100,000 pieces of luxurious and fine jewellery, said organiser Elite Expo Sdn Bhd.
MIJF has been gaining immense support from Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board, Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau, and Hong Kong Jewellery & Jade Manufactures Association (HKJJA) and is endorsed by Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE). The show envisions strengthening the country’s position as a global standard jewellery trading catalyst while helping out in promoting the country as the next best MICE hub in the eyes of the world.
Other than the booming jewellery industry, Malaysia is also noted for her steadily-growing gold industry. Known as the only gold exhibition in Southeast Asia, Penang Signature Gold Fair (PSG) co-organised by Elite Expo will be held again since last year at Penang Straits Quay Convention Centre, from 11 to 13 August 2017.
In conjunction with PSG, the organiser will present the MIJF Jewellery Design Awards 2017 with the theme of ‘The Golden Retromancer’, aiming to unleash jewellery design students’ creativity and be a trendsetter to blend beauty elements in antiques in the modern designs of gold jewellery.
