Held on 12 November 2013 in Geneva was Sotheby’s important watches sale which realized a total of US$11.8 million (approximately HK$91.8 million), the highest total ever achieved in this category. Highlights included a unique Breguet pocket watch of Sir Richard Wallace sold for US$1.1 million (approximately HK$8.5 million) and a unique version of the Big Pilot’s watch perpetual calendar edition Le Petit Prince (Ref IW502801) in platinum by IWC sold for US$190,000 (approx. HK$1.47 million).
