THE Singapore International Jewelry Expo (SIJE) 2014 will be held from 3 to 6 July at Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre.
Eyeing the huge market with 600 million consumers under the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) to be created by 2015, SIJE 2014 will be showcasing innovative collections of fine jewellery, diamonds, gemstones and watches.
According to Conference & Exhibition Management Services Pte Ltd, show organizer, last SIJE received over 200 exhibitors from 23 countries and regions including four country pavilions housed in a total gross area of 7,700 sqm. Among the nearly 11,000 visitors from 52 countries and regions, 24 percent were from overseas including India, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar, the United States and Japan.
Many exhibitors were satisfactory about the show in terms of organization, visitor profile and traffic. “The commitment put in by the organizers was one of the key factors of the show’s success,” expressed Ivy Chao from DeGem. “SIJE 2013 was an eye-opener into the current Asian market trends and has opened many new channels for Famosi Singapore,” said Fabio Cascapera, Famosi. Simone Ng from Simone Jewels noted: “The well-organized event not only reaches to a wide target market but also works closely with each exhibitors to help bring out their best.”
