Malaysia International Jewellery Fair Spring Edition (MIJF SE) concluded successfully on 15 January 2018 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. Top-notch jewellery brands from 11 countries and regions showcased their latest and avant-garde collections to buyers from all over the globe.
All these years, MIJF has received great support from government departments and jewellery associations worldwide including Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board, Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau, Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation, and the renowned Hong Kong Jewellery & Jade Manufacturers Association (HKJJA). The immense support helps promote Malaysia as the next best MICE hub in the world.
A spectacular jewellery fashion show was held in the afternoon of 12 January when some of the most trendy and innovative high jewellery from Malaysia, India, Japan and Italy was generously displayed on stage for the well-heeled guests. Show organiser Elite Expo Sdn Bhd felt honoured to invite Princess of Kelantan state YAM Tengku Amalin Aishah Putri Bt Sultan Ismail Petra as the show’s officiating guest.
The World Mineral Galleria made its debut at MIJF SE this year. Exclusive photos of gemstone mining in Sri Lanka taken by the fair organiser were on display at the galleria where also included precious gemstone roughs from different sources with captivating stories.
As a gesture of appreciation, MIJF SE launched a number of special programmes for visitors including pearl jewellery giveaway and daily lucky draw.
