In the hanging garden of Paradeisos Jewellery, every piece of natural gemstones is intrinsically unique, precious and noteworthy. Such believe lies deep in the soul of the Hong Kong-based contemporary jewellery brand established in late 2016 by Aimee Lee and Penny Lau.
Named after Paradeisos in Greek, the brandname has a connotation of hanging garden, paradise or heaven - an enchanting place of colours, beauty, hopes, dreams and inspirations.
Designer Aimee Lee has a passion for natural semi-precious stones with distinctive features including lapis lazuli, malachite, tiger’s eye, chalcedony and labradorite. A trained designer and gemmologist, she aspires to introduce the underlying beauty of the undervalued gemstones to a wider audience through her creations.
Paradeisos Jewellery’s gold-plated silver jewellery is overwhelmingly-inspired by geometry and architecture with fascinating stories on ancient Greece or Roman legends. The Paradeisos multi-layered rectangular lapis lazuli ring, the Delphi round charoite cabochon choker or the Acropolis octagon pair rings with diamonds are among the significant components of her hanging garden.
Now carried by TDC’s Design Gallery and a number of local independent outlets, the young brand has a vigorous plan to reach out to a wider audience by taking part in more international trade fairs such as the 2018 September Hong Kong fair, opening up showcases, while fine-tuning its brand image and marketing strategies on social media.
