For Shi Weixuan from Beijing, jewellery is a wearable three-dimensional miniature sculpture. She won champion in the Student Group (Drawings) category of the 2017 International Design Competition on Trendy Fei Cui Jewellery with the ‘Dimensions of Life’ brooch, a modern take on traditional fei cui jewellery with a three-dimensional handling.
