New features to boost VOS’18 vigour

The fall edition of Vicenzaoro this year (VOS 2018) will take place at Fiera di Vicenza from 22 to 26 September, a strategically-critical time of the year when businesses place orders and restock ahead of the year-end selling season, according to organiser Italian Exhibition Group (IEG).

VOS 2018 will be housing 1,300 brands from 35 countries and regions. Six product-based districts namely ‘Icon’, ‘Look’, ‘Creation’, ‘Expression’, ‘Essence’ and ‘Evolution’ will provide visitors with a better buying experience.

A number of new features will be introduced to the leading gold and jewellery show in Europe. Located in the ‘Icon’ zone, ‘The Design Room’ brings global independent and innovative jewellery designers together to promote creativity and set new trends. ‘The Watch Room’ in ‘Look’ district is another new entry to the September fair which dedicates exclusively to 12 watch brands.

The renowned Trendbook by Trendvision Jewellery + Forecasting will come as Trendbook 2020+ this year. Forecasting design and consumer trends in jewellery, watches and gemstones 18 months ahead, the trend book will be launched at a seminar during the fair.

‘T.Evolution’, dedicating to small machinery and processing technologies, is “the most significant new entry” to VOS 2018.

Besides new exhibits, education and training also receives great attention with an exciting lineup of conferences, workshops and seminars for visitors during the fair. ‘Digital Talks’ and ‘Gem Talks’ are some of the highlights. (Photo courtesy: IEG)
