The Diamond Producers Association (DPA) has appointed Kristina Buckley Kayel as managing director of its North American division effective from 4 February. She will be responsible for the development and implement of the consumer marketing and communications strategy with a focus on the group’s ‘Real is rare. Real is a diamond’ platform, as well as trade and organisation management in North America and report directly to Jean-Marc Lieberherr, the CEO of DPA.
Prior to joining DPA, Buckley Kayel was the marketing & communications head of the America division of the heritage French high jewellery brand, Van Cleef & Arpels for the last decade and marketing and communications positions for global luxury brands such as Salvatore Ferragamo and Baccarat as well.
