The long-awaited jewellery and watch making machinery show of the year, METS 2014, will open its doors to international buyers starting 10 AM of 25 June at AsiaWorld-Expo, Hong Kong. An inaugural professional trade fair organized by the Hong Kong Jewellery & Jade Manufacturers Association (HKJJA), METS 2014 is set to attract visitors from Asian where is now a major fabrication base for global luxury goods including fine jewellery and watches.
The official opening ceremony will be held at 11AM when the founder, president, chairman and vice-chairmen of HKJJA will be invited to inaugurate the show, following by a lion dance session.
On the second day of METS 2014, 26 June, there will be two sessions of free educational seminars for all show attendees: ‘Protect your property & staff safety in a professional way’ (11:30AM); ‘Portable XRF quality control in jewellery industry’ (3PM).
