New York-based jewellery designer Maria Canale launches a jewellery campaign ‘Every Drop Counts’ (photo 1) today, the World Water Day, 10 percent of proceeds of sales from her Drop and Wave collections to Water.org, supporting the organisation to empower millions of people with access to safe water and sanitation through affordable financing.
Her Drop and Wave collections price ranges from US$1,100 for diamond drop earrings to US$12,000 for a wave white gold diamond eternity bangle. The designer created a pair of white gold diamond earrings in the ‘colours of water and sun’ (photo 2) for the Water.org initiative.
The designer grew up spending summers at the ocean and from an early age and has been inspired by the transformative power of clear blue water. She said the collections were representative of who she was and how she lived my life.
