Gemological Institute of America (GIA) has organised a global leadership programme for 50 executives from the jewellery industry, with one participant per company attending around the world at the Harvard Business School (HBS) from 24 to 27 June, which GIA described as “a custom four-day curriculum led by world-class professors and based on the renowned HBS case study method”. Attendance is by invitation only.
This year’s class is the largest in the sixth-year history of the program. Themed innovation, the program will address: How to create a corporate culture that fosters creative, innovative problem-solving
How to empower others by creating an environment that rewards risk-taking and learning from failure
How to encourage behaviours that drive creative thinking and collaboration
How to work effectively with others to facilitate the changes needed to realise the potential of new ideas
Upon successful completion, participants are awarded a Harvard Business School certificate of programme completion.
