The 2015 winter edition of JA New York will be rescheduled to 18 to 20 January from March, announced by the show organizer. It is said that the new show dates are to reflect the industry need to create a standalone show that would not overlap with other trade fairs.
Drew Lawsky, group show director of JA New York, said: “As always, we remain committed to doing what the best for the whole industry is and, more specifically, for our customers. With other trade fairs competing with our original March dates, we adjusted ours to accommodate our customers’ schedules and quell any concerns they may have about making a difficult decision regarding which shows to participate in or trying to be in two places at once.”
After rescheduled, the winter show will become the first show of the post-holiday show season, allowing buyers a prime opportunity to view new products and replenish their stocks in time for Valentine’s Day.
The winter show will remain three days and be located at the Jacob K Javits Convention Center, Manhattan.
