Following the postponement of the twin shows organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) announced yesterday due to the potential health treat caused by the new coronavirus outbreak, the Hong Kong Jewellery & Jade Manufacturers Association (HKJJA) said earlier today that its 9th AEC Gems & Jewelry Presidents’ Summit 2020 will also be put off for the same reason to match with the new show schedule.
The 9th AEC Gems & Jewelry Presidents’ Summit 2020, originally scheduled for 3 March 2020, thought to capitalise on the huge traffic drawn from HKTDC’s Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show 2020 and the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show 2020 which were supposed to be held 2-6 March and 4-8 March respectively. As the two shows will now be held concurrently during 18-21 May, the Summit is also postponed accordingly.
HKJJA does not provide a fixed schedule yet. It says it will be in touch with all parties involved for follow-up arrangements and updated information.
