Fabergé has officially been certified as a member of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) two years after the Gemfields’ jewellery brand joined the council.
As an RJC Member, Fabergé is committed to the responsible ethical, human rights, social and environmental practices of the RJC Code of Practices for coloured gemstones, diamonds, gold and platinum group metals.
“This certification demonstrates to our customers that we are committed to crafting the finest creations with minimal impact on the environment whilst also adhering to responsible business practices and supply chains. Our customers can rest assured that when they invest in a Fabergé piece, they are supporting positive change within the jewellery industry,” Fabergé managing director Anthony Lindsay commented on the certification.
The jewellery house put gemstones from Gemfields’ mines in Mozambique and Zambia in its creations.
