Online jewellery platform gathered jewellery by independent designers worldwide Auverture has set up ‘The Auverture Designer Fund’ with an initial donation of €10,000. All profits from jewellery sales on its website in the coming three months will be donated to designers in need via The Auverture Designer Fund.
The website and jewellery designer Bibi Van Der Velden said the coronavirus pandemic will be a tough time for our independent designers and their small businesses. She believes she has duty to help designers during these uncertain times. The campaign is spreading online with the hashtag #auvertureunited calling for those who believe in the power of creativity and unity to help independent designers survive to donate to the fund or buy the designers’ pieces online.
Auventure has put together a committee of industry experts, designers and financial advisors to decide who needs the most to save their passion, company and family.
