Christie’s Hong Kong will stage the magnificent jewels live auction in July at its headquarters in Central. Among the highlights are a fancy intense blue diamond ring and a star ruby pendant necklace.
The diamond ring is set with a marquise brilliant-cut 12.11-carat fancy intense blue IF diamond (photo 1) with an estimate of HK$65 million – $95 million/ US$8 million – $12 million). Another featured lot, a 19.53-carat Burmese star ruby pendant necklace (photo 2), is from renowned Hong Kong designer Edmond Chin of Etcetera (estimate HK$18 million - $28 million).
Leading the fei cui section is a bangle (photo 3) with high translucency and fine texture with a high estimate of HK$12 million. A pair of fei cui hoop and ruby earrings (photo 4) could come as another sought-after piece.
