JNA Awards announced 2020 honourees

The 2020 edition of JNA Awards revealed its list of honourees across seven categories virtually, followed by an online panel discussion featuring industry thought leaders.

Among entries across from 11 countries and regions, 32 nominees are shortlisted by the five-member panel of judges including: Shanghai Gold Exchange international advisor Albert Cheng, Asia Pacific Institute for Strategy (APIFS) research director Mark Lee, Platinum Guild International (PGI) former Chief executive James Courage, Gemological Institute of America (GIA) India senior advisor Nirupa Bhatt, Shanghai Diamond Exchange (SDE) president and managing director Lin Qiang.

Industry Innovation of the Year continues to be the most popular category. Courage said: “These reinforce the jewellery industry’s success in innovation and adaptation to change, and evolving consumer and market needs. There is a noticeable focus on social and environmental improvements and responding to the effects of COVID-19.”
