Responsible sourcing jewellery brand Brilliant Earth teams up with Alrosa’s initiative Diamond That Care to introduce limited-edition jewellery collection. 10 percent of proceeds from sales will donate to Feeding America’s COVID-19 Response Fund.
Nine designs ranging from drop earrings to strand necklace all handcrafted from recycled gold and featuring natural diamonds of brown hues ethically mined in Yakutia are exclusively available at Brilliant Earth. Each engraved with the message “I Care”.
“We believe every natural diamond should be more than just part of a jewelry piece but a helping hand for those who need support. People have become much more responsible than before, and now the diamond is another way to show responsibility,” Alrosa CEO Sergey Ivanov said.
Recently, Diamonds That Care raised US$338,781 through the sale of three Anna Hu design jewelry pieces at Christie's auction benefiting the Brave of Heart Fund.
