The International Gemological Institute (IGI) has announced its 2020 JEWEL Jewelry Design Contest and Gem Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) has inaugurated Draw A Design competition.
Required no cost to participate, both welcome entries from jewellery professional, designers and students. The theme of 2020 JEWEL Jewelry Design Contest is “Collision and Fusion” and divides into four judging groups: diamond, coloured gemstone, gold and creative material. IGI CEO Roland Lorie explained the theme: “In our industry’s history, every collision and fusion of civilizations made way for new classical eras.”
The Draw A Design competition has four themes: Galaxy of Sparkles, Luxurious Dazzles, Artistic Expressions, and Colorful Bubbles. Organised by Vaibhav Global Limited, GJEPC’s India Gem & Jewellery Awards 2018 winner. The top three winners of each category will receive cash prizes.
