Bulgari recreates 16th century Rome with its latest collection ‘Barocko’ that the Bulgari managing director Mauro Di Roberto described the most stunning high jewellery collection been created in many years, which is ‘very rich, very Baroque, very Rome’.
The collection is comprised 50 high jewellery ranging from necklace to drop earrings. Took over 1,500 hours to complete, Rosso Caravaggio pendant stands out with a 10-carat cushion-cut ruby. The brilliant piece can be disassembled into two separate necklaces. Another necklace highlight is the Lady Arabesque necklace, setting various gemstones: purple sapphire, Paraiba tourmalines, emeralds and diamond elegantly in 18-karat rose gold.
In light of the ongoing pandemic, most consumers might find difficulties in visiting brick-and-mortar to try on the jewellery. The Italian jewellery house has prepared a Bvlgari Barocko app, offering 360-degree images and a “try on” feature for jewellery shoppers.
