Well-known tourmaline jewellery designer Kat Florence introduces jewellery set with titanium bearing tourmaline from Botswana.
Brought by gemstone hunter Don Kogen, Florence is amazed by the sparkle and glow of the titanium bearing tourmaline. Don explained metallic bearing tourmalines are unique. Copper is the trace element which makes Paraiba tourmaline shines brightly, the same logic applies to titanium. The jewellery collection contains a ring, drop earrings and necklace.
Florence said: “With less than 200 of these rare Neon Titanium Tourmalines ever discovered, it will be interesting to see what price the rare Tourmalines will fetch at auction.” Currently, Florence is holding a world record of the for the largest gem-quality Paraiba Tourmaline ever sold at auction in 2016. The record-keeper is a 91.43 carat blue Paraiba Tourmaline.
