The Natural Diamond Council (NDC) will unveil a global advertising campaign on 14 September, which focus on emotional connections created by diamond jewellery amid the coronavirus crisis.
The about-to-release advertisement was filmed in July and will feature a Hollywood celebrity. Broadcasting on national television across United States, India and China as well as selected digital channels, it is estimated to achieve 40-50 times higher traffic and engagement rates. NDC plans to collaborate with key retailers for inclusion in their stores and on their digital platforms.
Reviewing the launch of Only Natural Diamond website, David Kellie said: “Website traffic in July was 20 times higher than 2019 while social media engagement is 30 times higher. We are interacting with millions of potential consumers every day.” He found out that consumers are now spending more time buying diamond jewellery, especially on digital platforms.
