Watches of Switzerland USA has acquired pre-owned and vintage timepiece Analog Shift, resulting from a two-year partnership with the opening of the watch retailer of SoHo flagship in New York.
“As we began our entry into the US market back in 2018, we saw the pre-owned and vintage segment as a significant area of opportunity and Analog Shift as the ideal partner to help us realize that,” Watches of Switzerland CEO Brian Duffy explained the reason behind the acquisition. He added the two companies are like-minded.
Analog Shift founder James Lamdin will become Watches of Switzerland’s director of vintage and pre-owned timepieces while his business partner, Vincent Brasesco, will be hired as manager of the division.
Both brands look to bring character to watch purchasing. Analog Shift will be able to expand Watches of Switzerland’s services, bringing a cutting edge understanding of the secondary market exclusively to the Watches of Switzerland customer.
