The diamond trade in Antwerp, Belgium, fared well in September 2014 with stronger year-on-year figures of rough and polished diamond imports and exports. The traditionally-quiet August and the Jewish holidays in October (instead of in September as for 2013) are the attributes of a better September this year, according to an Antwerp World Diamond Centre (AWDC) trade report dated 13 October.
