Australian precious metal coin manufacturer the Perth Mint adds the Jewelled Horse to its Jewelled Range collection, which contains the Jewelled tiger, dragon and phoenix coin launched in 2020, 2019 and 2018 respectively.
The coin is made of 99.99% pure gold coin. On it, there is a pave diamond rearing horse with 2.76 total carat weights of fancy intense to vivid pink or purplish-pink diamonds mined at the Argyle mine in Western Australia and 0.01-carat golden diamond. Limited to eight mintage, it asks for $279,000, 20,000 more expensive than the tiger coin.
Perth Mint general manager Neil Vance unveiled that the majority of the customers come from coin collectors and luxury product customers in Australia and Singapore, as well as buyers from Europe and the United States.
