Gemmological Association of Hong Kong (GAHK) will host a seminar on Internationalisation of fei cui standard at the HKTDC Hong Kong International Jewellery Show from 13:45 to 15:00 on 27 July at Hall 3E LuxeStage in Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC).
The seminar kicks off with keynote presentations by four industry heavyweights: World Jewellery Confederation (CIBJO) president Dr Gaetano Cavalieri, Hong Kong Jewellers' & Goldsmiths' Association (HKJGA) chairman and GAHK Fei Cui Standard Project industry adviser Mr Kent Wong, National Gemstone Testing Center (NGTC) director Dr Yang Lixin and the China University of Geosciences Gem Testing Center director Dr Yang Mingxing. Their speeches will cover the globalised harmonisation work across key stakeholders and associated regulatory communities.
Moderated by GAHK Fei Cui Standard Project working team project specialist Dr. Edward and Dr. Norman, the panel discussion following the seminar invited Asian Institute of Gemological Sciences (AIGS) founder Henry Ho, CIBJO Gemmological Commission president Hanco Zwaan, China University of Geosciences distinguished professor Dr Ren Lu, CIBJO Sector A vice president Rui Galopim de Carvalho, Kasetsart University department of earth sciences international consultant Pornsawat Wathanakul and Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand (GIT) director Sumed Prasongpongchai, to share their viewpoints on Internationalisation of fei cui standard.
