British jewellery designer Annoushka Ducas debuts its first high jewellery suite Radiance Collection comprises a necklace, cocktail ring and two pairs of earrings with Fuli Gemstones.
The Radiance suite brings about the bold and opulent Art Deco colour palette with August birthstone peridot, Madagascan pink sapphires and malachite. The grass green peridots featured are from Fuli’s Yiqisong Nanshan mine, the largest peridot mine in the world. The designer has a soft spot for this semi-precious stone as it had a rich history dated back to the ancient Egyptians and Cleopatra.
She also shared the inspiration behind the collection that she has worn an engagement ring designed by herself every day for 31 years. She adores its strong geometry and takes this idea into the suite. Her favourite piece among the set happens to be the ring. “I designed the ring so that the top detaches from the ring shank, and a hidden bail allows you to clip it to the dainty 18K gold and peridot necklace.”
