Casio’s newly launched digital watch celebrates one of the arcades games which has taken the world by storm since 1980: Bandai Namco’s Pac-Man.
The Pac-Man edition is based on the watch maker’s classic F-10 digital watch debuted in 1978. Casio said it was the first quartz model in a resin case offering calendar, stopwatch and digital alarm. The retro-inspired one still has the said functions as well as the iconic four-button layout, which is relocated on the dial. Graphic-wise, the dial features the game’s maze, pac-man, four ghosts and 100-point worth cherry.
What makes the watch special are the stainless steel strap with laser-etched graphics and the gold plated finish which nods to the game’s yellow arcade cabinet. Flip the watch over, the case back shows etched Pac-Man logo, maze and various ghosts.
