Diamond Cutters International unveils The Millennia Collection aka the Argyle Trifecta, made up of a pink, red, and violet diamond from Argyle Diamond Mine, the renowned powerhouse of pink diamond closed last year.
According to Fred Cuellar, CEO of Diamond Cutters International and the author of the international bestselling book How to Buy a Diamond, the collection unites the world’s greatest red, pink and violet diamonds of their classes. Details of the three coloured diamonds:
The Millennia Red
The stone is graded fancy red by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and belongs to purplish-red in the Argyle colour grading system. It weighs 0.55 carat.
The Millennia Violet
The 0.33-carat stone has a GIA colour grade of fancy dark grey violet. It was previously known as the Argyle Allure at the Rio Tinto’s 2012 Argyle Pink Diamonds Tender.
The Millennia Pink
The fancy deep pink oval stone has a carat weight of 1.15 carats. It was also one of the 70 diamonds offered at the 2020 edition of Argyle Tender.
