The winners across 14 categories of the 2021 edition of Couture Design Awards and the fifth Cindy Edelstein Award are announced at Wynn Las Vegas.
The Cindy Edelstein Award recipient is Larry Pelzel, Neiman Marcus’s vice president, who was acknowledged for his 40-year career at Neiman Marcus. The award honours an individual who is a true leader in the industry who is dedicated to the success of designers and brands, has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to Couture, and who is an inspiration to others through an enthusiastic attitude and unabated vitality.
This year’s people of choice goes to Winter Branches earrings by Assael, which also takes home the best in pearls award. Layers of 48 rare blue Akoya pearls reimagine the tip of snow-catching twigs with white diamond briolettes wisely put on branches in platinum to mimic glittering snow. The earrings have a 14.82 total diamond carat weight. Highlights as below:
