Audemars Piguet raising the bar for its sought-after Royal Oak Concept Flying Tourbillion watches with diamonds, gemstones, crocodile leather and mosiac strap.
Among the series of the six open-view pieces, five of the them crafted in 18 karat white gold and one in 18 karat pink gold. four are hand-set with gemstones range from brilliant to baguette-cut and in an array of colours. As many as 468 stones including emeralds, sapphires, rubies, tsavorites, topaz, tanzanites and amethysts are set into the 38.5 mm watch depending on the model.
The remaining two are relatively understated, which covered only in sapphires yet has a not so understated number of 208. Audemars Piguet says the invisible gem setting took up to 150 hours of work to master.
The gemstones set quartets will arrive in 2022 and the blue hued duo will be available soon in this month.
