Valued at around HK$16 million, the pure gold castle was unveiled during an opening ceremony attended Kent Wong, managing director of Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group and Tim Sypko, Senior Vice President, Operations, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort on 3rd December 2021.
To celebrate the 1st anniversary of “Enchanted Treasures” at Hong Kong Disneyland,CHOW TAI FOOK presented the world’s pure gold Castle designed in compliance with the Castle of Magical Dreams. Kent Wong, Managing Director of Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group, said: “Combining innovative technology with traditional jewelry craftsmanship, this artistic gem is an important milestone for our Group, and a cornerstone that celebrates our long-term Parks alliance with Hong Kong Disneyland Resort. This brand-new Pure Gold Castle, along with the Disney Princesses and Queens-themed jewelry, not only provides our customers wider choice of products with inspiring stories, but also bringing them a blissful fulfilment through jewelry.” This 85cm-high Pure Gold Castle is going to be tourists’ new “check-in” spot for photo shooting.
An all-new “Hong Kong Disneyland” Collection and “Disney Princess” Collection were launched, including the two gold coin sets – “Disney Princess” and “Elsa and Anna” – exclusively available at the CHOW TAI FOOK store in Hong Kong Disneyland.
