Since 2006, the "Cartier Women’s Initiative Impact Report” has supported 262 outstanding women entrepreneurs from 62 countries has awarded a total of US$6.44 million in prize money to support their businesses. These outstanding women share a common belief; to solve global problems imminent issues and challenges. Their businesses have made a strong impact in their respective fields.
The Impact Awards Ceremony, on March 6th, was hosted by Tiffany Dufu, founder and CEO of Cru, an American women’s training organization, and Italian-Brazilian conductor Simone Menezes brought a poetic musical performance honoring outstanding women’s entrepreneurs. Also, as a representative of outstanding women entrepreneurs, Ms. Guo Jingjing, a world diving champion and an advocate for women’s development, served as a special guest to share her insights on gender equality and women’s empowerment at the celebration.
The winners of this time are all previous winners, jointly awarded presentations by Mr. Cyrille Vigneron, President and CEO of Cartier, and Ms. Sophie Doireau, CEO of Cartier Middle East, India, and Africa.
