Hearts On Fire, a U.S. diamond brand owned by the Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group announced the appointment that Rebecca Foerster will take up the position of president of Hearts On Fire NA effective May 1 as Caryl Capeci is stepping down as CEO of Chow Tai Fook North America. Foerster will take charge of Hearts On Fire’s office in Boston and will be responsible for all North American regional operations. Previously, Foerster served as president of Alrosa USA which is ceasing operations as a result of the sanctions imposed by the Biden administration.
No explanation of Capeci’s departure has been given. Hearts On Fire said it was part of the rebranding of its parent company’s North American operations and the “sharpened focus” on the Hearts On Fire brand. It is not the first instance of senior staff movement recently. Peter Smith, president of Hearts On Fire and Mémoire, left in February.
