Vicenzaoro show organiser Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) has appointed Matteo Farsura as global exhibition manager of its jewellery and fashion division.
Matteo Farsura, the former exhibition manager of Vicenzaoro, will manage IEG’s jewellery shows, including VicenzaOro, OroArezzo, T Gold, the Italian Jewelry Summit, Valenza Gem Forum, VO’Clock Privé and VO Vintage, which take place in Italy. He will also be responsible for the Jewellery, Gem & Technology in Dubai (JGTD) event and the Singapore International Jewelry Expo (SIJE), as well FIMAST, a fair dedicated to hosiery and footwear.
According to IEG, Farsura will succeed Marco Carniello, who will become chief business officer of the company’s new business division.
Farsura first started at IEG in 2017, where he helped develop the company’s technology segment, before moving to work on the Arezzo events, and then to VicenzaOro. Before joining IEG, he worked for a leading Italian fashion jewellery company. (Photo courtesy: IEG)
