The “One Fair, Two Venues” jewellery marketplace will be held from 16 to 20 September at the AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE) and from 18 to 22 September at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). With a combined total of 3,300+ exhibitors from 40+ countries and regions, this sourcing event offers a range of exciting attractions and high-value engagements, including the presentation ceremony of the Sustainability Awards 2024 by JWA (Jewellery World Awards) and the Sustainability Heroes Panel Series. Moreover, attendees may explore Orient Odyssey, a groundbreaking interactive exhibit that provides a fascinating glimpse into the world of pearls, and visit the Gold Jewellery Pavilion, which is making its debut with collections that showcase creativity, precision and customisation in gold jewellery production.
“JGW is the most highly anticipated B2B buying event for the international jewellery and gemstone community for many reasons: It takes the lead with its unparalleled range of products, services and expertise. It has a wealth of knowledge-sharing opportunities where connections are forged, trends are experienced firsthand and creativity flourishes,” said Celine Lau, Director of Jewellery Fairs at Informa Markets Jewellery. “JGW is also as much about the city of Hong Kong as the show itself. It has free trade and the rule of law at its core, making it one of the most liberal and business-friendly destinations globally. Moreover, Hong Kong serves as an invaluable springboard, connecting businesses to both the vast opportunities within China and the rest of the world.”
Online pre-registration for JGW is now open and will remain available until 9 September.
Furthermore, SEASONS | Autumn Fashion Jewellery & Accessories Fair will be held concurrently with JGW from 18 to 22 September. Taking place in Hall 5BC of the HKCEC, this event is regarded as one of the most inspiring gatherings in the fashion jewellery and accessories industry. Buyers attending the fair will discover a multitude of opportunities, with an array of must-have collections available for the Spring/Summer seasons of 2025 and beyond.

Talk of the Show
Sustainability Awards 2024 by JWA
Topping JGW’s programme is the presentation of trophies to the winners of the Sustainability Awards 2024 by JWA. The Award Recipients in the Environmental Stewardship, Social Empowerment, Manufacturing Innovation, Community Engagement and Sustainability Leadership categories will be celebrated at the Fair Reception, which will take place on 18 September at the Grand Foyer of the HKCEC.
The Awardees and finalists will also be invited to participate in the Sustainability Heroes Panel Series where they will share their inspiring journeys to sustainability on 17 September at the AWE and 18 September at the HKCEC.
Orient Odyssey
Pearls, cherished as enduring symbols of beauty, grace and purity, take centre stage in one of the most extraordinary show floor experiences ever launched at JGW. Celebrated as the most renowned of all biological gems, these beauties are the stars of the special exhibit, “Orient Odyssey: From Shell To Gem – The Fascinating Life Of Pearls,” in partnership with Autore, Edison Pearls, Hatta New World Co Ltd, Jewelmer and Paspaley, among others. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the intriguing journey of how a humble mollusc like the pearl oyster can produce some of nature’s most perfect creations. The exhibit will also highlight famous pearls in history, the latest advancements in modern pearl cultivation and a collection of exceptional pearls, among others. Moreover, this special attraction will raise thought-provoking questions about the future of pearls and the role pearl oysters play as indicators of the health and vitality of oceans and the broader natural ecosystem.
Complementing Orient Odyssey are panel discussions on “Beyond Precious: Pearl Farming And Environmental Stewardship” at the AWE on 17 September and “The Power Of Pearls: Sustainable Gems For A New Generation,” which will take place at the HKCEC on 18 September.
Gold Jewellery Pavilion
Launching at JGW this year is the Gold Jewellery Pavilion, a section dedicated to jewellery collections and accessories exclusively crafted from the precious metal. With a focus on Asia-based manufacturers, the pavilion will present the cutting-edge trends and advancements in gold jewellery production, demonstrating the countless possibilities that can be achieved using this precious medium.
