Vicenzaoro January Closes with High Number Participation from Overseas

With a strong message regarding protection for made-in-Italy jewellery

and goldsmithing, the January edition of Vicenzaoro, organised by Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), staged at the Berici capital's Expo Centre from 17 to 21 January 2025.

According to IEG, the edition not only confirmed last year's exceptional numbers, it also touched the international dimension record: foreign visitation – greater than that of Italians – reached the participation number of 145 countries and regions from all over the world. Turkey, the United States, Germany, Spain and Greece were in the lead. Interesting increases recorded in countries such as North Korea and Australia.

The year of 2025 marks a transformative moment in jewellery design where innovation merges with personal expression. With consumers increasingly more eager to reflect their unique identity through jewellery, this season's orientations embrace individuality, modernity and the art of storytelling. Vicenzaoro January proposed four style trends. Rebeluxe explores a rebellious yet refined aesthetic. Naturama combines organic beauty, cutting-edge technology and sustainability. With Retro Glam, the glamour of the past meets the innovation of the future. Refined Essence captures the essence of lightness and fluidity.

Over 600 high school students and students from institutions across the Vicenza region took part in the opening of Vicenzaoro January: a visit that represents a unique opportunity to connect with the world of business and jewellery, allowing young people to meet and learn directly from the companies that drive the market.

Corrado Peraboni, CEO of IEG, said: “We have won the internationality challenge. Several years ago, we decided to develop our leading products abroad. A successful strategy that has decisively increased foreign visitation at our most important events in Italy.”

Matteo Farsura, head of IEG's gold and jewellery division, underlined: “With 1,300 brands and the involvement of the entire jewellery supply chain, from technologies to haute joaillerie, Vicenzaoro confirms its position as a global platform of reference, favouring dialogue among the different segments to meet the needs of the various markets.”
