Chow Tai Fook records strong sales growth in Q3 2025

In its latest report, Hong Kong-based jeweller Chow Tai Fook has announced a robust recovery in retail sales during the third quarter last year. Sales for the three months ending December 31 surged by 18 percent compared to the same period last year, signalling a continued rebound in consumer confidence towards jewellery purchases.

The company highlighted significant sales growth across both the mainland and the Hong Kong-Macau region. Specifically, retail sales in mainland China, which account for approximately 85 percent of Chow Tai Fook’s total revenue, rose by 17 percent. The Hong Kong and Macau markets experienced an even more impressive 23 percent sales increase.

The same-store sales figures were particularly noteworthy, with a 21-percent rise in mainland China, while Hong Kong and Macau reported a 14-percent increase. Notably, sales of weight-based gold products in China grew by 13 percent, while fixed-price jewellery saw an extraordinary 53 percent spike. However, in Hong Kong and Macau, the sales of fixed-price jewellery dropped by 15 percent.

Chow Tai Fook also reduced its store count by 228 locations, predominantly on the mainland, but marked its expansion by opening a new outlet in Bangkok, Thailand, bringing its total to 5,813 points of sale.
