Oscar-winning actress Julianne Moore has been appointed as the new global ambassador for Messika, the Paris-based high jewellery house renowned for its modern interpretations of diamond design.
The partnership formalises a longstanding creative relationship between the actress and the maison. Moore has previously worn Messika pieces on numerous occasions, including the brand’s signature Move necklace in her 2018 film Gloria Bell, and at the opening of the Messika boutique on Madison Avenue, New York, last autumn.
Valérie Messika, the brand’s founder and artistic director, described Moore as “the very epitome of modern allure – powerful, intelligent and deeply luminous,” adding that their connection was “immediate and instinctive.” She noted that Moore’s elegance and confidence “capture the essence of Messika – a blend of timeless grace and contemporary spirit.”
As brand ambassador, Moore will appear in global advertising campaigns and major events, portraying the maison’s vision of femininity: bold, free, and perpetually moving. The first campaign visuals featuring her are expected to be unveiled in April.
Messika has previously collaborated with international talents including Kendall Jenner, Chinese actor Gong Jun, opera singer Nadine Sierra, and models Alton Mason and Pan Haowen, continuing its tradition of celebrating women who, in the brand’s words, “move the world with authenticity and audacity.” (Photo courtesy: Messika)
