Chavana, fine jewellery brand from Thailand, is making its debut in Hong Kong at ISA Boutique by the end of May this year, said Jennifer Tse, Chavana’s partner in Hong Kong, at a media preview yesterday.
Just launched in 2014, Chavana is led by the fourth generation of the Chavanaves family in celebration of the 100th anniversary of Mian Teck Jewelry Export Co Ltd which is now under the leadership of Sitthidej Chavanaves, the third generation of the family.
Inherited from Mian Teck’s traditional craftsmanship and the passion to deliver the best to fine jewellery aficionados, Chavana wows the audience with its signature Art Deco and Edwardian designs. Vintage and classic, Chavana’s jewellery is handmade by master craftsmen in Thailand.
The preview session featured delicate openwork designs masterly set with rose-cut diamonds and faceted precious gemstones, creating endless geometric fantasies. Some pieces, the Black Deco collection for instance, are set with onyx for a casual yet elegant look.
