In 2016 MJSA Expo New York will move to Jacob K. Javits Convention Centre and will run alongside JA New York Spring Show during 13 to 15 March. The two shows will run independently but an agreement had been reached to allow qualified attendees to access all exhibitors and sessions in the two shows.
MJSA (Manufacturing Jewelers & Suppliers of America) President and CEO, David W. Cochran, said the chance to move to Javits “presented a win for the buyers and exhibitors of the two shows” so they couldn’t pass up the opportunity.
Drew Lawsky, Group Show Director for JA New York Shows, said “the co-location of MJSA and JA New York is a natural fit” and it “will have a tremendously positive impact on all our exhibitors, and will streamline the process of attending both of these events”.
MJSA Expo, focusing on tools, equipment and services for jewellery making and design, had been organised in the Hilton New York since 2010. Under the new arrangement, MJSA will be held in the River Pavilion while JA New York will be held on the third floor of Javits Centre.
