Tiancheng International, Hong Kong, will be holding its jewellery and jadeite spring auction on 14 June 2015 at the Admiralty headquarters. Highlights among the nearly 270 jewellery items include the biggest Harry Winston emerald necklace at auction.
The HW pendant necklace set with a 42.88-carat natural Colombian Muzo emerald and diamonds together weighing approximately 73.00 carats with an estimate of HK$23-28 million or US$2.95-3.6 million. Another attention grabber is a diamond necklace set with 22 pieces of natural unheated Mozambican pigeon’s blood ruby totaling approximately 53 carats (estimate HK$22-25 million or US$2.82-3.2 million). Rings set with big and rare stones such as a 59.93-carat fancy deep orange-brown diamond or a 25.72-carat heart-shaped D-colour diamond are expected to stir up rounds of fierce competition.
The auction totals approximately HK$300 million or US$39 million, estimated the auction house.
